Hi All --

A colleague of mine from the Apache Foundation asked me to pass this
information along to the campus IT community. I've also attached a
legal sized flyer in case you want to post it in your departmental
spaces. - Mara

2009 marks the 10th anniversary of The Apache Software Foundation.
Join us at ApacheCon to celebrate this important milestone and to
usher in the next decade of "The Apache Way."

ApacheCon US 2009 returns us to the San Francisco bay area, considered
to be the original 'home' of The Apache Software Foundation. And we
are just a few blocks away from the site of the first ApacheCon
gathering. This will be a unique and exciting celebration of 10 years
of great coding, the evolution of an amazing community, and a look at
the future of Open Source and The Apache Software Foundation. Join us!

The Apache Software Foundation is about communtiy, that is we provide
support for communities of like minded people who, as a result of
their interactions, produce world leading software. Those communities
are a great place to get things done, learn from the best, meet the
future and to have fun. ApacheCon is about all these things.

In addition to the paid for content we have a wealth of free events,
including a 2-day BarCamp and evening MeetUps. These are fantastic
opportuntiites to find out about The Apache Software Foundation, our
way of working and the amazing software we have. They're also the best
way you can find of getting to know the people behind our projects in
a friendly environment.

In addition to the free content we have tracks on: Business &
Community, Content Technology, Felix (OSGi), Geronimo, Hadoop, HTTPD,
Lucene, OFBiz, Tomcat, Tuscany & Synapse, Web Services and more.

For further informaiton and registraiton details please see.... Why
not register for the free BarCamp and MeetUps now.
