use of music on website

Hi all,

We're creating a library of short videos and want to add music clips
during the beginning and ending portions. Since we are an educational
site and not profiting monetarily from the use of the music, my
understanding was that there are no copyright or royalty issues, but I'm
not sure if that's correct. Can anyone give me some guidance here?
