Join us for the Web Editors brownbag lunch Monday, December 15, starting at
noon. This is the special interest group for UC Berkeley web editors and
designers - meet other web folk over lunch and share ideas, best practices
and more!
If you manage, design, write for, or otherwise fret over a Cal website, this
meeting is for you.
WHERE: Residential & Student Services Programs, Berkeley Room, 4th Floor,
2610 Channing Way (cross street is Bowditch). << NOTE LOCATION. WE ARE
MOVING AROUND THIS YEAR
WHERE!?: The RSSP building is on the south side of campus, at the corner of
Channing and Bowditch, entrance on Channing. Directly behind Hotel Durant
and next to Underhill Parking Lot. 4-story yellow building attached to
Crossroads dining hall.
-Get on the first floor elevator to the 4th floor
-Exit the 4th floor elevators to your left, follow straight about 100 ft
until you dead-end at a row of filing cabinets
-Take left at filing cabinets and an immediate right to the main hallway
-Follow main hallway past offices and cubicles until it dead-ends in the
Berkeley Room
TOPIC: The face behind MyBerkeleyApp. Tony Christopher, the face behind
MyBerkeleyApp and the MyBerkeleyApp on Facebook, will talk about being a
"facebook friend" to incoming Cal freshmen for the first time this year.
