UC Berkeley gateway templates -- sneak preview

Webnetters: Just a few (!) months after the launch of the redesigned UC
Berkeley gateway site, we've put together a set of page templates based
on that design for use by any campus unit. I'd like to invite interested
Webnet members to a sneak preview this week, where you can see the
designs, take a guided tour under the hood, and offer your suggestions
on ways we could make the templates even more suited to your needs.
Based on that feedback, we'll make any needed adjustments and then post
the templates and their component parts (CSS, images, Javascripts,
documentation) for free downloading, just in time for holiday giving.

Our plan is to meet this Thursday, Dec. 11, at 3:00 at the Public
Affairs office, 2200 Bancroft at Fulton. Please RSVP if you plan to
come, so I'll know whether the 16 seats we can wedge into our conference
room will be enough, or if I need to hunt up a bigger room (and thus
possibly a different time). Thanks.
