PDFs combining from multiple files-some answers

Hello, all,

Thanks for the quick and kindly expressed responses. I should have explained
that I was not using a full "paid-for" version of Acrobat. At any rate, it
looks like either I buy it or use a utility in Tiger, a description of which
I'm passing along from one of the Webnet respondents.
