Opera Software ASA is for a very short time giving away free
multi-platform registration codes for its well-regarded Opera web
browser, in celebration of the browser's 10th anniversary. (See
story below.)
To obtain registration codes:

P.S. The vendor claims on its home page that "Opera has the best
security track record of any browser ..." A March 2003 article on
TheRegister.com (essentially an online tabloid for the IT industry)
noted that "For many years Opera has had an impressive record for
browser security." Over the past two years, several security
vulnerabilities have been identified, but the vendor has generally
fixed these very quickly.
