Abstract:
Blu Portal
Blu - The presentation on the Blu Portal will briefly cover the business
case for Blu, needs and benefits, along with the genesis of the project.
The method for the build and how the set of launch services was chosen will
also be discussed. There will also be time spent on the aspect of the
single signon, Calnet, and what the status is of the next steps for Blu.

How to find room 303 if you enter Doe Library via the north side of the
building:
1. You'll be in the Bernice Layne Brown Gallery when you walk in Doe
Library via the north side entrance.
2. Walk forward through the gallery to the marble staircase.
3. Walk two flights up the right side of the marble staircase.
4. Room 303 is at the top of the stairs, on the left hand side.
How to find room 303 if you enter Doe Library via the south side of the
building:
1. You'll see the Library Copy Service on your right when you walk in the
Doe Library via the south side entrance.
2. Walk forward through the security gates, down a long hallway that
passes the Periodical/Newspaper/Microform Room on your right.
3. When you reach the end of the hallway, the men's room and telephones
will be on your right, the entrance to the Main Stacks will be straight
ahead. TURN LEFT, into a small gallery alcove.
4. Walk through the gallery alcove into the larger Bernice Layne Brown
Gallery. You'll see a marble staircase on your left.
5. Walk two flights up the right side of the marble staircase.
6. Room 303 is at the top of the stairs, on the left hand side.
