Hi Debra,

Also, "The Non-Designer's Web Book" and the "Non-Designer's Design
Book" by Robin Williams (Peachpit Press) are excellent. I often
encourage our sub-site editors to looks at these books and tell them
that applying just a few basic principles of graphic design can make
all the difference between a page that looks amateur vs. one that
looks professional.
