Folks,
I'm trying to put together a venue for our next Campus WebMasters Get
Together. It's been quite a struggle finding a room that we could call our
own, but there's one remaining possibility. I won't know for certain until
Monday. So it'll either be in this mystery spot, or we'll go back to the
Faculty Club for another gathering similar to the last.
Every organization I talked to about rooms is in the charging mode: I-House,
Faculty Club "rooms" (as opposed to the main central room), U-Hall (thanks
to Peg Farrell for looking into that), Boalt, etc. They all want money. I've
assumed that as an "unsponsored" group, we would have a tough time coming up
with the money. If that's not the case then show me the money! Classroom
scheduling doesn't charge for room space, but they don't allow food. If it's
not one thing it's another.
Anyway, the lunch will be sometime during the Week of August 13th. I'll keep
you posted.
