Dear Fellow colleagues at Berkeley,

This is a SOS. Please kindly render any assistance to you if you can on
the subject urgently. Many thanks to your assistance.

The name of our website:

1) Division of Infectious Diseases & Vaccinology . (This is for the
Division and MPH program)
2) Graduate Group of Infectious Diseases and Immunity. (This is for the
PhD program)

Website address:
http://microbe.berkeley.edu (Division one)

http://microbe.berkeley.edu/~idgroup/index.html (PhD one)

Old website host: socrates
New website host: CalWeb II

Challenges:

Faculty of the Infectious Diseases asked the Division to redo the
Division website: microbe.berkeley.edu in summer 2008 and the software
used for maintenance is Contribute C, where staff can do updating and
editing and we have contracted a webmaster to do the technical part for
us then. The project has completed and works fine till socrates retired
in Dec 19. The PhD website was built by a PhD student a few years ago
which is link to the PhD program site
http://microbe.berkeley.edu/~idgroup/index.html to the
microbe.berkeley.edu website is not working anymore though the Division
website has migrated to CalWebII. Someone suggested me to take away the
~ in front of the idgroup but I cannot do so since we lost the
connection to Contribute C for any updating.
The webmaster who did the job for us back then no longer worked here
and is not willing to help us to reestablish the connection to
Contribute C. I need someone to check the code for us to make sure it
can point to the correct website, it may be as simple as taking the ~
away from the address. Previously is
http://microbe.berkeley.edu/~idgroup/index.html. This is the information
from the IST:
Spoke with Theresa this morning.
we identified that the new CalWeb site is up and running and seems to be
complete except for the PHD link.
Theresa will talk with her previous developer and see if he can
correct the link to point to the idgroup folder under wand reestablish
the connection of Contribute C.

Anyone who is expert of Contribute C and can do the configuration for us
is greatly appreciated. Blessed your heart!

Thank you.

Regards,

Teresa
