Bond,

I suspect you could install Virtual PC, install XP or Vista-32 there and remote in that way. I often remote in from my virtual environment, though I don't have the 64-bit host problem that you have. Might just work. : ]

Subject: [Micronet] Vista 64 and remote

Hello Micronetters,

I am the proud and somewhat befuddled user of Vista 64 bit. It came with the laptop. I've been told that there's no way I can remote in from an external location - home, for example! - because VPN doesn't work with 64 bit. I'm looking for any workarounds that might be available. Does anyone know of a way that I can use VPN from this Vista laptop?

Any clues greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Bond
