Hi Rune,
The IST Enterprise Windows Team is probably one of the larger
administrative users of VMWare at Berkeley. However, we order our ESX
licenses through the UCOP agreement and thus do not deal directly with
VMWARE.
I am not aware of a campus VMWare Education Program Administrator for
Berkeley, so I'm not sure who you would contact here at Berkeley.

Subject: [Micronet] VMWare Education Program Administrator?
Howdy all,
I'm wondering whether we have a campus VMWare Education Program
Administrator? According to the VMWare website, under
Partners->Education Program you will see that staff and faculty involved
with instruction can download and install VMware Products on their
workstations, for free. I've sent the application in twice now and
haven't heard back from VMWare. After reading everything again, I
realize we may already have done this as a campus-wide relationship with
VMware. Their switchboard doesn't know where to send me when I call
VMware.
If this is the case, whom do I contact to have our department become
part of this?
Thanks!
