Hi all,

Please join Micronet this coming Tuesday, September 18, 10:30-noon in
150 University Hall.

Karen Berardi will present examples of job mapping. We have also
included as an attachment a schedule of other mapping workshops. This
schedule is also available on the Micronet website. This attachment
includes a list of the technical folks who participated in the
development of each IT job family. Please do not direct questions to
these individual subject matter experts. Rather direct questions to
<mailto:compdesk_at_berkeley.edu>compdesk_at_berkeley.edu and Karen will
route inquiries to the SMEs.

Future meeting: We would like to plan a future meeting on how to
jump start your IT career on campus. We are looking for UC IT
employees who would be willing to participate in a forum at a
Micronet meeting. How did you get started? How do you keep up with
information and changes in IT? Did you change fields and how did you
do that? Your experiences would be helpful for UC employees wanting
to advance their careers. Please email Claudia or Roger if you would
be willing to participate.
