Remote access to campus AD configuration

Hi,

Do you have any non-technical customers using a single laptop for both
1) office connection to the campus AD via LAN line
2) remote connection via VPN to the campus AD with NO REMOTE DESKTOP configuration and with acceptable performance?

If yes, what wireless technology are you using and at what speed?
