Greetings,
Got another one for the group to ponder.
We have a new Dell GX620 tower, freshly built with Windows XP, SP2,
all the patches, SAV 3.10 (no firewall, using Windows firewall with
exclusion for Remote Desktop activated)
The system will run Remote Desktop and connect to other computers just fine.
It will not accept a Remote Desktop connection from anyone, anywhere.
Local security policy is: NTLMv2 response only/ refuse LM & NTLM
PC is in the AD campus domain
under "my computer" properties, remote tab, remote assistance and
remote desktop boxes are checked to allow connections.
Tried this with Windows Firewall both on and off (doesn't work in either case)
Checked the registry for "remote desktop" but didn't find anything
that looked obviously wrong
What else do I need to check to enable this user to connect?
TIA
