Hi all,
This won't really help Lucia, but for others who are considering a UPS upgrade...
I recently upgraded my home UPS via this American Power Conversion (APC)
"Trade-UPS" program:
http://www.apc.com/support/tradeups_program.cfm
You get a discount on a new UPS, and they will provide you with a printable UPS
(acronym overload! that's United Parcel Service) label that will pay for return
shipping of the old unit, where it will be properly disposed of. I got my new
UPS in 2 days, and have 30 days to send the old unit back. The old unit can be
any brand, working or not.
Regards,
-Rob
