Good Day,
I'm troubleshooting an installation of Cisco Clean Access which is acting
buggy. It is supposed to log the IP and mac address of each user when they
log on. However, for many users, the system is logging an IP associated
with a wireless card. Most of these IPs resolve to a name associated with
Airbears, but I have a couple that do not.
I'm trying to ascertain if this behavior is limited to wireless cards. I
have an IP 128.32.251.218 hostname g4-3.cnr.berkeley.edu.
If you manage this namespace, of if someone could provide me with a
contact, it would be helpful to know if this is a wired or wireless connection.
Thanks,
Bill Doyle
