From what I can tell, you will have to validate. From Microsoft at
http://www.microsoft.com/uk/windows/genuine/faqs/default.mspx:
"Do Volume License customers need to validate?"
Volume License customers need to validate, but do not need to enter their
Windows Product Key.
I assume that you would still need to validate, even if you Ghost using the
volume license copy of Windows XP, which allows you to not have to activate
Windows. Activation vs. Validation...it gets confusing.
