Micronet Readers: forwarding a note from Michael Sinatra which warns of
the potential/inevitable Katrina Disaster Related Scams:

As noted on various security-related sites, the potential for scams
surrounding the Hurricane Katrina disaster is quite large. Expect
yourselves and your users to be receiving emails for "charity"
organizations soliciting money for the victims of Katrina. Some emails
will promote truly fake organizations, and some will pretend to be from
real organizations (and even have links that look real in the email), but
when clicked, these links will take an unwitting user to a
fraudulent site. (Remind users NOT to click links in email that claim to
go to their bank, eBay, PayPal, etc.)

PLEASE, warn your users in STRONG terms NOT to respond to email
solicitations of a monetary nature. If your users wish to donate money to
help the numerous victims, have them go to this government site:

http://www.fema.gov/news/newsrelease.fema?id=18473

(Note that I am not using html email, so this is truly the link. :)

The site above lists a number of charitable organizations that are
currently receiving cash donations. Please spread the word.
