Agate timeout

If I get a phone call while posting through TRN aginst the agate NNTP
server, I've often lost my socket by the time I get back to it. It seems
that a fairly short activity timer has been set, and I've lost several
postings that died when I went to send them. You don't know the socket's
gone while you're editing, and it would seem that editing doesn't count as
activity.

Is it possible to get this loosened up? Who do I ask?
