Eudora Help

Greetings,

Starting this morning, I repeatedly have gotten a message that says,
"Could not open the file C:\Program FIles
Qualcomm\Eudora Mail\spool\30313BA4.RCV for reading

Cause: No such file or directory exists. (2)"

The Eudora knowledgebase says that this is caused by Norton AntiVirus and
it can be fixed by excluding the spool directory from the files to be
monitored. The knowledgebase says this about the spool folder:

"The spool folder is for holding attachments that wouldn't exist if they
weren't parts of messages. The most common way this happens is when
forwarding or redirecting a message that has attachments; a copy of all the
attachments is made in the spool folder. The copies in the spool folder
remain until the message they belong to is emptied from Eudora's trash."

I have not been sending or redirecting any emails that I am aware of. My
question is this: What is happening here? Is this something I should
worry about or is this an anomalous event, best ignored?

Thanks,

Larry
