I use firefox exclusively and I don't notice this problem. I specifically
tried the suggestion about Ebay auctions, but I can view a list of items,
click on a specific item, then click back and it brings me back to the
list again.

Is there a specific URL that somebody could post that illustrates the
"Ebay problem"?

I have had problems with the back button for things that do (what I
perceive to be) zero-second META refreshes, such as maps.yahoo.com/dd. In
these situations you can use the edge of the back-button to navigate back
two "pages" at once.

I'd like to close by contributing to the flamewar and state that it's bad
system administration to ask your users to evaluate trustworthiness and visit
only "safe" sites as a means of protecting them from this (still
unpatched?) vulnerability. I can't see how a small problem with the back
button on some websites is worth exposing users to having all their data
stolen by hackers because they visited kellybluebook.com (one of the many
sites infected by this worm.)
