Updating Symantec Def's w/o connectivity

I've a lap-top that I know is infected with a worm so I do not want to
connect it to the network. My idea is to burn a cd and load Symantec and
it's newest av def's onto the machine.

Symantec, however, wants its customer's to use Live Update to obtain files.

Does anyone have suggestions how to proceed without endangering the network?
