I don't know about Zone Alarm, but I just tried installing XP SP2 beta
build 2082 onto a system running SCS 1.1.1 MR3 and with ICF disabled.
Following reboot, the new Windows Security Center control panel said
that "Symantec Client Firewall is installed, but its status is
unknown". SCF itself reported that it was enabled and its log files
indicated that it was working normally.

Checking the new Windows Firewall control panel showed that the ICF was
now enabled for my local LAN interface (Local Area Connection). I ran
the XPFW.EXE utility mentioned earlier, and it also reported that ICF
was enabled for that interface. Disabling it using the utility was
successful, and the Windows Firewall control panel also reflected the
newly disabled status.

I will be reporting to Microsoft that both SCF and SAVCE were not
recognized as being enabled, or in the case of SAVCE, even installed.
