Hi everyone,
I've been using Symantec Client Firewall for a few days now and noticed
that there's apparently a pretty big performance hit when web browsing.
On a P3 600 running Win2K, the CPU usage will regularly spike to 100%
after clicking on links. However, when I disable the firewall, CPU usage
is fine.
Anyone else see this behavior when using it? I'm a bit concerned about
asking our Residential Computing Consulants(RCCs) to install this on all
the ResHall computers and suddenly get a flood of complaints about slow
performance.
