I've found a kvm that looks good; it's made by the same company that
makes the one we're currently using; Rose Electronics, which we're
very happy with and has served us well. They have a new one that also
does serial ports and the kvm emulates a vt100/220 for them.
IS&T will be moving to a new location off campus next year and machine
room space is an issue. One thing that would help with space is
instead of having a regular monitor is to have an lcd monitor that
lays down or folds flat so that it doesn't take up more than 1U space.
Does anyone know of such a thing?
