The International Computer Science Institute (ICSI) is currently
accepting applications for the job of "System Manager". The
successful applicant will report to the Director of ICSI and will be
responsible for all aspects of the ICSI computer system. Among other
requirements it is likely that the successful applicant will have
strong security, Unix and people skills.

ICSI (http://www.icsi.berkeley.edu/) is a non-profit research
institute that focuses on basic research in key fields of Computer
Science. Although the Institute collaborates with UC Berkeley in may
ways, and for historical reasons is part of the Berkeley.EDU name
space, it is a separate organization and is not part of the University
of California. I.e. the job involves working for an organization of
100 people, not many tens of thousands.

Thanks,

David.
