Solved--mystery ?data base? files

Thanks to all for the many suggestions! I continually marvel at the
expertise of our campus personnel and their willingness to share it!

Graham Patterson figured out these are Microsoft Works files (he did this
using Quick View Plus), with confirmation from Roy Baril.

It's too hot for it today (it's 100 deg. F here), except in the Mather
Redwood Grove, but we encourage you all to visit the Botanical Garden when
you can. We are open extended hours during the summer (9 - 5 daily, 9 - 8
PM Wed - Sun) and admission is free to staff and retirees with id.
