The current UC contract for Legato products is about to expire. The
UC-wide software licensing group has been discussing options for a
new agreement with Legato Systems. I'd like to find out about
Legato users who are currently unknown to IST.
If your department uses Legato's backup products and is NOT in one of
the categories below (which IST knows about already), please send
direct email to tell me which products you are using and whether you
currently have maintenance and/or technical support services for your
licenses.
1. Departments that purchased Legato licenses through the
campus Software Distribution office during the term of the expiring
contract (3 years).
2. Haas School of Business.
