Yeah, it's pretty common, unfortunately. Such a shame, too,
given the enormous attention to detail that went into the design of
that thing. (Even the bottom is downright pretty compared to most
other laptops!)
There are places that sell thin pads to place between the
keyboard and screen; hunt around on the Web for suppliers of
PowerBook doo-dads.
