It's kinda hard to estimate the cost for this; currently the
Retrospect backup files are around 38 GB for the entire set of local
workstations. I considered using Retrospect to back up to a local
external drive, which I'd then backup to UC Backup--but I'm not sure
if the cost is based on backed up files/month-or stored files (likely
the latter) in which case it would be around $380/month for the
service. Local tape based method is a single $1000 outlay, some tape
occasionally--that's it for a few years.
