If you need to guarantee an open window for some subset of your users,
then it looks like you could set logon hours for that group and use the
Network Security Force: logoff when login hours expire option. With a
group design you would not necessarily have to limit everyone.

This is applicable in 2000/XP local security, and should be available via
AD/GPO.

Can your application survive a forced logoff?
