Thank heavens for Micronet!
First the good news.
The last response I received solved a thorny problem that affected most
folks in my department. (Styles & Plain Text issue)
Boy are the staff happy campers now!
Now for the bad news.
I've got a staff member who's Eudora will not display the mailbox window
(usually displayed down the left side of the screen).
We tried exiting Eudora, renaming the Eudora.ini file to Eudora.ini.old
and then restarting Eudora, recreating the user id as if it were a fresh
install. No luck. the mailboxes still don't display.
Then we uninstalled Eudora, deleted the eudora.ini file, installed ver
5.0 and the 5.1R upgrade into the folder where the previous install had
been (with the users mailboxes, shortcuts, distribution lists, etc).
Then we started the program, created the user id ... and still no
mailboxes.
Anyone have an idea what may be causing this manifestation?
and how to fix it?
My user is using the menu bar to transfer files, but would like to drag
and drop on the mailbox (if only we could make it magically reappear).
Thanks, in advance.
