I discussed the "Adobe flyer" with TRC and with the coordinator of
the UC-wide technology acquisition group. There was a mailing list
error at TRC that resulted in the Adobe pricing flyer going to UC
addresses. TRC has apologized.

The pricing cannot be honored because UC has not completed an
agreement with Adobe for its academic discount program. UC has been
trying to negotiate this agreement for many months. The contract
proposed by Adobe contained some terms that are unacceptable to UC.
Adobe has been less willing than most of our vendors to make the
necessary changes. It is possible that this agreement will never be
signed. But if it is signed, I will be announcing the deal via
Micronet, MAGnet, etc., as I always do.

Thanks.
