Thanks, Rusty, for this set of templates - they're handy.

For those who are using MySQL (a database management system which
is free for non-commercial uses), this is to put in a plug for Paul
DuBois' book:

   MySQL
   http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0735709211

   (more reader reviews at fatbrain.com)
   http://www1.fatbrain.com/asp/Reviews/ReviewsRetrieve.asp?isbn=0735709211

We've found this book invaluable for both learning and reference,
and believe it has been well worth its $40 cost, even despite the
wealth of documentation available for free on the mysql.com Web site.

As just one example, Chapter 11 includes eight clearly written
pages on managing user accounts and setting up permissions.

Although I haven't looked at this one, DuBois also has written a
well-regarded second book specifically on using MySQL with Perl and
DBI:

MySQL and Perl for the Web
