The last Mac OSX Seminar scheduled for the fall semester is approaching!
This last seminar will be held on Friday, November 9 from 10 AM to 12
noon, in 262 Evans Hall. Enrollment in the seminar can be requested
through the ICE system, at http://hrweb.berkeley.edu/ice/home
Here's some additional info about the topics covered:
This is a 1.5 to 2 hour session led by campus Apple reps, with some
hands-on. The topics covered will include: what is OS X and whether or
not you should move to it now, the basic differences between the
traditional Mac OS and the new Mac OS X, how to print, how to connect to a
server, how to use your old applications with the Classic environment, and
explore some of the new features of OS X. This is the only seminar offered
to all campus faculty, staff, and students. You may enroll through the
ICE system, at http://hrweb.berkeley.edu/ice/home/ (sponsored by CAL
PACT).
Thanks!
