Regarding previous e-mail (below) -- we would be grateful for ANY computers
that are an upgrade from the Pentium 90s we have. Please let us know if you
are getting rid of any equipment. Thanks.
If anyone out there has computers they might be interested in donating, can
you please contact the Emma Goldman Papers Project by email or phone (2-4708).
Some of our computers were wiped out by the SirCam worm. Our other
computers are too old to install and run an anti-virus protection program.
We would need at least a Pentium II Class CPU with 64 MB of RAM and a 4 GB
hard drive, as well as keyboards and mice as we currently have IBM PC style
keyboards and serial mice. In addition, our monitors are old and not energy
efficient or low radiation, so if anyone has monitors to get rid of they
would be most appreciated.
Any donations would help us with our research and editing!
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Delcianna Winders
