Need to know more about OS X?

The campus Apple Reps, Wyn Davies and Dave Brounstein, will be holding
Macintosh OS X seminars for interested campus users on August 24 and 31
from 10-12 in 262 Evans. These seminars are hosted through CAL PACT and
you can enroll on-line through ICE (Interactive Course Enrollment) system
(http://hrweb.berkeley.edu/ice/home/). The seminar description is
below. More seminar dates will be added as needed throughout the Fall
semester.

Mac OS X Training
Learn about the latest OS X system from the campus Macintosh
representatives. The 1.5-2.0 hour session will be instructor led with some
hands-on. The topics covered will include, what is OS X and whether or not
you should move to it now, the basic differences between the traditional
Mac OS and the new Mac OS X, how to print, how to connect to a server, how
to use your old applications with the Classic environment, explore some of
the new features of OS X. This is the only seminar offered to all campus
faculty, staff, and students. Enrollment is requested through ICE
(sponsored by CAL PACT). More sessions will be scheduled if needed.
