    Greetings all:

We've been getting increasing numbers of requests for the
site-licensed version of Eudora 5.0.1. Unfortunately, we have not
yet received the site installer for 5.0.1 from Qualcomm, Inc. (the
    folks who produce Eudora).

We have contacted Qualcomm several times about this issue, but have
not yet received a satisfactory response. We are continuing to
actively pursue a solution to this problem, and will let you know as
    soon as we have one.

In the meantime, you can download Eudora 5.0.1 from the main Eudora
site (http://www.eudora.com) and use it in either "Sponsored" or
"Light" mode. (See the first couple of paragraphs on
    <http://www.eudora.com/products/eudora/download/> for details about
    these 3 modes.)

For those of you who want to be somewhat more adventuresome, you can
get an early, unedited-for-UCB version of the site installer for
    Eudora 5.0 (NOT 5.0.1) from:

    We apologize for the inconvenience,

The WSS Macintosh Technical Support Team
