Apple announced the availability of 10.5.6 today.
I've tried to install it on 4 different Macs with
strange results.
On the 2 Mac Pros I tried, it went on fine.
One of these was even a Mac OS X Server.
On the 2 iMacs I tried, the installation hung
right after the warning saying the computer
was going to be restarted. The hang is in
a window labeled "Software Update". This
window says "Installing 1 item" and is in
the "Configuring Installation" step. I've
waited for several hours but nothing happens.
Has anybody seen this or am I in the twilight
zone (again)?
Thanks,
Jon
