"Business Process Improvement in the Financial Arena"

Please join us in a conversation with Associate Vice Chancellor-Finance and
Controller John Ellis to discuss business process analysis in terms of
financial services on campus. John will give an overview of current and
planned initiatives and then open the floor up for comments and ideas of
best practices already occurring at Cal. John would like to discuss how
central administrative financial units can work with campus departments to
understand business process changes made at a departmental level that could
be leveraged to benefit the campus as a whole. Topics under discussion may
include areas such as travel, e-procurement, student receivables, imaging,
e-training, business portal, effort reporting and cost sharing.
