Hi, All
About 5-10% of the time a Mac OS X Tiger/Safari user visiting our
site will see either a "0" on an otherwise blank page or something
like the following preceding our intended page:

A refresh usually displays the page correctly (our site is
http://gse.berkeley.edu/ although right now this home page seems less
susceptible to the problem; the faculty page on the top nav bar is a
good one to try).
Our web server is using 4D/Kerio WebStar 5.4.2 on Mac OS X (upgrading
from 10.3.9 to 10.4.8 hasn't eliminated the problem.) Other
combinations of browser/operating system see our site fine; it seems
to be something endemic to Tiger Safari.
Any ideas on what's causing this and how to fix it?
(Also, we're using the WebStar supplied Swish-Enhanced as our search
engine, but our nightly indexing has not worked in months. Is anyone
familiar with this software? We'll probably go with the Google Co-op
or Public Service Search -- if it comes back -- but it doesn't seem
to do as good a job finding keywords on our site.)
Thanks a bunch,
Vic
