If you mean a PC computer, Goldwave (http://www.goldwave.com/) is a good
choice.
You might find that the internal (card) or integrated (motherboard) sound
system picks up a lot of computer noise, limiting the quality to about 12
effective bits. One solution is an external USB2 or S/PDIF sound system.
