There are several crashing problems that QUALCOMM claims are resolved in
Eudora 6.2.3 for Mac OS X, according to the release notes. Only one of
the crashing issues listed in these notes is identified as
Tiger-specific:

  http://www.eudora.com/download/eudora/mac/6.2.3/RelNotes623.txt

The campus-customized installer for Eudora 6.2.3 should be ready by the
end of this week, and will be made available for downloading from the
WSS Software website <http://software.berkeley.edu/>, as well as
included on the Connecting_at_Berkeley 2006 CD <http://cab.berkeley.edu>
for Mac OS X, which should be available by approximately mid-August.

Until then, a non-customized installer, which can be used to upgrade an
earlier version of Eudora - campus-customized or otherwise - in-place to
6.2.3, is available for downloading, suggested for use by "early
adopters," from the WSS Software website.
