Norton AntiVirus 10 & OS 10.3.9

When I right-button or control an application icon to show package
contents, the application folder closes.

Hello All,
Amidst all the communications regarding Norton Personal Firewall
3.0.2's incompatibilities with Tiger, I've seen no mention of an
issue/question regarding NAV 10.0 and OS 10.3.9. There are two
problems I've encountered since the installation of this new version.

1) the menu bar Symantec icon ball moves from right to left at
sporadic intervals. Hiding the clock. Clock for the most part is not
visible.

2)the control-click/right button function no longer provides me with
the contextual menu. Desktop icons just disappear momentarily then
reappear when either button is pressed. In short, the open/open with
capabilities don't exist.

Any clues?
