Hi Greg,
In the Utilities folder, you'll find the Network Utility. It's pretty
straightforward. You'll see the link speed in the Info pane.
You might also note that there's a setting in the Network Preferences
for built-in ethernet. The tab is called Ethernet and the default
setting is for automatic configuration. If you change it to manual,
you'll find a host of options in there.
