Re: is anybody interested in apple training?

I'd be interested in the certification prep courses (2-3 days). In
fact, I was waiting for OS 10.4 to be announced before signing up for
one of the Cupertino courses, since I figure might as well get the
training in 10.4.

You might want to consider posting to micronet as well; several
departments have reduced their computer support resources, and it's
possible some support folks who are windows-only and uncomfortable
with MacOS would appreciate the opportunity for training.

FYI for others, these courses are:
Mac OS X Help Desk Essentials v10.3 (3-day $1499, "Plus" is for
new-to-Mac: 4 day $1999)
Mac OS X Server Essentials v10.3 (4-day $1999)
System Administration of Mac OS X Clients (4-day, $2625)
System Administration of Mac OS X Server (4-day, $2625)

Link for fee-based training courses:

CDOP limit is $3000/calendar yr. Official leave policy limits leave
to 40 hrs. Certification tests seem to run about $150. Won't be
covered by CDOP.

Since Apple doesn't have to pay for room rental, any chance they'll
reduce the fees??
