Upgrading to Mac OS X session this Thursday, Feb. 10

   Apple Computer is offering a campus session on the benefits and
pragmatic aspects of upgrading users of older Macintosh operating
systems to Mac OS X:

   Location: 60 Barrows Hall
      Dates: This Thursday, February 10, 10:00 am to 12:00 noon

   ** Please feel free to invite your users of older Macintosh
operating systems to this event. **

   According to a summary by Wyn Davies, Senior Apple System Engineer,
who will be leading this session:

   Please join your Apple team for a 2-hour session on Mac OS X and
why now is the perfect time to move up to Apple's latest OS
technologies. With the upcoming Minimum Security Standards for
Networked Devices, moving from older versions of Mac OS have never
been more important. If you are not familiar with Mac OS X or new to
it, this would be a great time to come and ask questions and discover
why Mac OS X is the direction that Apple and all of its third-party
developers are taking.
