   It's possible that the one or more of the crude workarounds
suggested in the following article might be worth looking at:

   "A semi-solution for Palm 'to do' categories in iCal"

   While it's possible to disable syncing of contacts and calendars
(including 'to do' items) outright in iSync's preferences, like you,
I haven't seen any option for disabling syncing of just 'to do'
entries.
