Re: OS 9.1 and HP Laserjet 1150 problems

        I find that printing situations which involve all of the following...

        1) USB
        2) HP
        3) Classic Mac OS

...are a world of hurt. I get the heebie-jeebies just thinking of the
sorts of ridiculous problems I've had with this combination. (Take a
look at the magnet archives for a little taste.)

        Change any one of the three elements, and you'll probably be a happy
camper. It may not be possible for you to make changes in this
situation, but the three-way combination has been demonstrated to be
really bad.

        I would expect that the new G5 situation you describe will work fine,
as it eliminates element 3) above.
